I’ve been a season ticket holder for as long as I can remember. Now exactly 50 years after first standing on the Clock End, my son plays for the team. It’s unbelievable. It’s a dream come true for both Carl and myself, I can’t tell you how proud I am of him.”

Mesut Özil. I remember watching him during the World Cup and being so impressed with him before he went to Real Madrid, thinking man would love him at Arsenal but it probably won’t happen. He became my favourite non-Arsenal player for some time and I was absolutely shocked when we signed him. Regardless of how it panned out in the end, he will remain an important player who at his peak nearly won us the title (2016).
