Three takeaways…

1. There’s no NFL qb currently on this roster (actually think Zappe was as bad as Mac somehow)
2. Coaching staff needs to be completely overhauled starting with BB, but at a minimum Billy O needs to be gone. Mac isn’t good, but he isn’t godawful either and he’s been turned into a zombie out there. Bubble WR screen passes the entire game to try and move the ball up and down the field? I’ve seen high school offenses with better play design.
3. Losing is bad, no matter what. People cheering on this kind of losing so they can get a top three pick have no idea what losing like this does to an organization. Some of these players have to come back next year, and they’re going to have a hard time shaking the losing mentality.

The Brady contract was the single biggest advantage in professional sports for a long time, and that can’t be overstated.

That being said, I disagree with the main point in this article. The primary reason they are where they are now is because of bad drafting, not because of coaching/player turnover. I know that Bill wants to pretend like the draft is a crapshoot and you never know what to expect, but when you’re a team on the margins and you don’t have superstars in the building to fall back on like Brady and Gronk, you can’t consistently miss on 1st, 2nd, 3rd round picks. The only team we’ve seen win in FA and put a SB run together was the 2021 Rams, and that was flukey AF/ unsustainable.

I’m not saying Orlovsky is right, but there’s no way that Bill is back next year with this organization… he’s tanked this roster and franchise into the ground and the Kraft’s/majority of fans are done with him.
