I’ve never played the game, never intented to but i’ve heard enough about it and have seen enough of it.

The way you describe your opinion here lets me assume how you’ve written your post over on that community. You simply say "People do not want games to feel like it’s a job […] and while that may be your opinion it’s 1) not everyones opinion and 2) just because the game feels like a job FOR YOU, doesn’t mean that it feels like that for everyone.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with making a grindy “addictive” game loop if there are not MTX behind it to “harvest” that addiction.

So i think that’s the reason your post got deleted… not because they are “sensitive” but because you think you know better than people and that your opinion is “the truth”

With a bit of work homeassistant can be a quite good voice assistant.

You can either revive some old android device and use that, or get an ECHO M5 for ~13€ and hook that one up.

You can even run some local Ollama AI and use that for the voice assistant nowadays. It’s quite useful and home assistant can be integrated into music / audiobooks aswell with something like Music Assistant 2.0

Thanks to another user i got home assistant notifications with TTS running.

So everything can stay muted and i can let the phone talk via home assistant. Neat part is that this works even with both our phones lost and i can just ask my voice assistant where my phone is and it starts speaking

Yeah that doesn’t appear to work when you don’t use the do not disturb setting. We just turn down the volume

Not quite sure where i would do that in either of those settings.

We don’t use the google contacts app and the ones we use don’t have anything like that. Settings are pretty convoluted and the search function doesn’t help me
