You wouldn’t know it from the results, but this Commanders team has spent 5 first round picks on defensive line players in the last 6 years. Traded two of them away, of course. But still. This is meant to be the strength of the roster. And it’s not.

Sam Howell wasn’t perfect, but he did enough to win this game today. Coaching let him down. Rivera blew it on multiple occassions, and once again the defense under Del Rio was a major issue.
