This has been the case literally all season.
He gave Arden Key two L’s on Sunday
Press Taylor more than likely was still calling plays but I’d be willing to bet that Doug had more input. He probably wasn’t calling the exact play but at times he might have been in the headset like “ok let’s dial in a shot downfield here” or something along those lines and then letting Lress choose the play for that situation. Just my guess.
This game still worries me. We needed a damn near miracle play to beat them last year when they had a QB who had been there for one week. I know we’re the better team but we’ve seen how these two teams play each other.
The most reasonable take. They can’t do anything at this point but use who they planned on using and just hoping they figure it out since its clear at this point they cant scheme around it. Ive always heard that you can scheme around two bad linemen, but there is no scheming around three bad linemen which is what we have. There’s especially no scheming around a bad center. You could argue that Harrison is four but hes just a rookie and has to learn somehow. No real change is going to happen until the off-season.
I remember being a kid and watching him destroy that GB player live on TV. Shit was savage.
I like our QBs chances in the rain a lot more than the 49ers. Let it pour.
Going to clarify and say that Shad isn’t a great owner as far as his previous hires and their products on the field but at least he is far from the worst owner. Is there anyone who would rather have Irsay, Tepper, Mike Brown, or Spanos?
