  • “Many people call it Pennsylvania okay. Some call it Arizona, but many call it Pennsylvania too. Most say they don’t even know what it’s called but the ones who do, they call it Pennsylvania, okay? and you know that, and I know that and we know that, which is why nuclear, because my uncle, John trump, okay, and this guy was rough okay? Rough and tough, and BIG. okay big tears in his eyes and he says, “ummm Mr trump sir… Ummm ummm”. But you can’t do that anymore right, they don’t let you, but that had, they called it Wharton business school. And you need to know business, you need to know DEALS okay, and they say, I mean you hear this, you hear many people saying this, that, “trump does deals”. And the greats say it, you see orban, and they call him strong okay, I’m strong, she’s not strong okay, golf it’s heavy, you can’t just do golf if you’re a lady and you know that. But yeah, lady marmalade was what me and Jeff called this one girl, and she was… I mean, you could do it in those days, and they’d let you and you did it and we all did it and it was great. And that’s why okay, that’s and you see the shirts and they say it, MAGA okay, MAGA, and it says “make an elephant grapes again” and that’s really it. But the whole thing is just a hoax okay, and Hunter Biden did Hillary emails and it’s, of course it is right? And it’s sleepy joe ON STEROIDS we call it, and where is he now? You don’t see him anymore, it’s like he’s not even running for president, but that’s why I think Tim Waltz is gonna be the future vice president.”

Not really… What hero/story is this?

These movies are all about mass destruction, aliens and fast travel around the planet, universe and interdimensionally. They aren’t about protecting unrealized capital gains or a villain that takes control of all abandoned vehicles in junk yards, illegally parks them in cities with his mind and then jeopardizes police time with them writing millions of parking tickets that will NEVER… BE… PAID!!!

  • You just risk staying in limbo if not direct/literal effigy IMO… All young males in general have the earned reputation of typically being oblivious of expressed female romantic advances (just search Reddit, you’ll see 300 posts speaking to this per day). On top of that general difficulty, you have the compounding factor of their atypical mental processing.

So do what you think is right. Hope it works out for you both.

  • The nuerodivergent part suggests you’re going to just need to be direct.

“I really enjoy our friendship, it’s important to me. I want to make sure we keep that friendship regardless, but I’ve also realized I might be developing more romantic feelings for you that I’d like to explore together - maybe you’ve had thoughts/feelings like that about me before? If not, that’s cool, I just feel better having said it to you so it’s out of my head :) but yeah, I like you and I’d like us to get dinner on an actual date date sometime and see how we both feel. What do you think?”

    Or there’s always Margaret Cho’s technique…

  • “Just business”

Are you seriously trying to make the argument that elon “if you advertisers don’t like my performative bootlicking bullshit then go fuck yourself” musk is doing something for the good of a business and NOT because of his vindictive, forever 13 year-old, ultra-divorced, fermented hair plug influenced personal political positions?

You’re 1000% confusing this coincidentally being a move that might not get him banned in Russia, with that being the core motivation. There’s a disconnect in your comment, last two statements are valid, first is cookoo bananas.

  • I think answer is kind of there in the premise - stop trying to get validation from others that your “special things” are special. I had to work on this with my partner, she was always trying to “sell” obscure, funny “special things” that we share to rooms full of others that don’t get it. In the process, she would hurt her own perception of those special things just a little bit each time. Don’t give away your “special things” to poor unfortunate people who don’t get it or don’t deserve them.

  • Just like universal healthcare, these systems only really work to their potential with full participation. If all (commuter cars at least) go electric, the incentive is then there for business/funded science to solve the related problems with generating electricity. We’ve already seen advances in leaps and bounds in recent years, and that’s all with the drag of relatively small participation.

So the answer to your question is that they are currently less beneficial than they could be, but the potential of the platform is clear and superior to internal combustion engines. Emergency rooms triage patients based on severity of injuries - if a patient has a gunshot wound, a broken leg and signs of an early stage cancer, you start with the gunshot wound. People planted firmly in the position you represent with your question (not saying that’s you, OP) are the ones that start to boast that medicine is a failure if the treatment for the gunshot wound doesn’t also cure the cancer - it’s the first and most important step towards the solution in that moment.
