Everybody knows Kawhi has that extra gear saved for the playoffs. And honestly, I don’t want him doing too much, because that’s how injuries happen. PG is on a tear and now with Harden I believe we have (amongst many) solved a very critical problem - no one would step up for the clutchness on a game deciding play. PG always gets trolled with the “no OT tonight” because he isn’t a particular clutch player, and with Kawhi, eveyrbody expects it to be him so it’s easier to defend the predictable, now with Harden it opens up the possibilites and he has already showed that bailing Kawhi (and Lue) with that game winning 3 the other night.
-Kobe played, PJ didn’t, easy win. These three things are deeply connected.
On another note, I don’t know if it’s the alleged pratices with Harden or recovering from the also alleged injury, but Zu has been stepping up, on both ends of the court. The Harden effect is showing. What a great freaking game. 20+ point from both Harden and PG with 6 and 7 assists, 30+ piece from Kawhi (with 9 rebounds from board man!), 8 assists form Westbrook off the bench. 30 minutes of playing time to Mann, with 18 points! Feels good.
