Everybody knows Kawhi has that extra gear saved for the playoffs. And honestly, I don’t want him doing too much, because that’s how injuries happen. PG is on a tear and now with Harden I believe we have (amongst many) solved a very critical problem - no one would step up for the clutchness on a game deciding play. PG always gets trolled with the “no OT tonight” because he isn’t a particular clutch player, and with Kawhi, eveyrbody expects it to be him so it’s easier to defend the predictable, now with Harden it opens up the possibilites and he has already showed that bailing Kawhi (and Lue) with that game winning 3 the other night.

1·2 years agoNo surprises here. Russ is the least efficient and should take less shots, which will happen now that he’s in the second unit. Harden is getting in the groove of his game and the team so I expect him to take more shots and hopefully keep that efficiency. Kawhi should be the one with the most shots, but PG has been so good that we just need to let him be in rhythm.
I’m just grateful he only played 15min. If he becomes the new Mook for Lue that is going to kill us, so let’s hope his minutes keeps getting lower until he’s benched.

It’s exactly this. I love Norm but right now he’s the most valuable tradeable asset we got. Bones can literally take his spot and provide the same offensive threat (very different styles obviously but both very prone to scoring), and Bones has improved on D, is younger and is hungrier. We should trade Norm, unfortunately, for some depth at the PF position.
Starting unit looks fine, obviously. That second unit tho, yikes. Harden, Bones and Norm on defense is like having three Lou Will’s on the court.
This is not great… And even to people who are saying, bench harden and let him play with the second unit, it’s like you wanna have him play with Norm and Bone, like that will fix our problems.

I don’t think this is what he meant.

1·2 years agoGreat move, but I’m just here to see the reaction of the Lakers’ fans who were complaining that Reggie tripped LeBron a few days ago 😅
He reallyyyyy should’ve played way more. What a shame.
-Kobe played, PJ didn’t, easy win. These three things are deeply connected.
On another note, I don’t know if it’s the alleged pratices with Harden or recovering from the also alleged injury, but Zu has been stepping up, on both ends of the court. The Harden effect is showing. What a great freaking game. 20+ point from both Harden and PG with 6 and 7 assists, 30+ piece from Kawhi (with 9 rebounds from board man!), 8 assists form Westbrook off the bench. 30 minutes of playing time to Mann, with 18 points! Feels good.
