I genuinely cannot wait to see this team with a decent line. It feels like every other play they’re behind the line immediately

A top 10 offensive line and a really good possession receiver/tight end
The bears defense generated 8 turnovers in the last 2 weeks and their offense scored only 2 total touchdowns between those games. Fields has moments because he’s athletic but the only reason you won against the Vikings is because DJ Moore was somehow open by 10 yards in the middle of the field with a perfect pocket (why didn’t the Vikes rush him there?). The lions game was lost because they couldnt capitalize on good defensive play.
Fields is a bust. He get flustered easily. He has zero ball security. And he struggles to climb or move the pocket and get to his next read. I feel like he’s still trying to hit home run balls instead of learning to take 5-10 yard check downs. You have a chance to get one of two seemingly generational QBs, you gotta move on from JF.
That penalty probably puts PSG through. Absolute fuckery to give that
Never a penalty. Absolutely ridiculous call and some home cooking in Paris
In my life as a Titans fan, I haven’t hated a coach more as a person than Urban. I was genuinely happy when he got canned, even if it meant Jags got their guy in Doug.
Can we please just go for something here? None of this stupid run it out crap. You have an opportunity to score, take it
Levis literally called him out and the tackle missed him
How the fuck did he get that off clean?
Love Vrabs having the balls to go for it
It’s just nice to be included on a list that isn’t about how we suck lol
I think a late 1st is not a bad spot for quality starting TE, but top 10 picks are meant to be franchise changing players. Andrews, Kittle, and Kelce are the only 3 TEs in the league with hindsight that you could argue, right now, are worth top 10 picks. That’s not a great ratio.
I know everyone’s focusing on the offensive line, as well they should, but we got absolutely burned in the secondary. There were some throws that Kevin Byard might have had a say in if he was still here. We have a lot of position groups that have needs.
Tierney set Anfield alight. You know when the whole crowd is changing “fuck off Tierney,” you’ve messed up. Salah is inevitable when the crowd is behind him.
The level of officiating these last few months have gotten me to the point where I almost feel I need to take a break from watching the sport. it’s getting unbearable, watching referees completely deciding the outcome of matches. I hate the lack of consistency and it’s somehow more chaotic with tools designed to make it easier to be decisive.
I’m happy with Willis coming in for a running play when the situation makes sense. First & 10 at mid field? Nah. 1 & goal? Sure, Taysom hill scores plenty and he’s not a great thrower. You just can’t put him in situations where he’s so clearly inferior and needs to run the offense. It undercuts your QB1 and the defense absolutely doesn’t respect it.
If he got 4-5 carry’s a game and transitioned to gadget guy, I’d be fine with that.
I’m tired of ETH skirting criticism for an insanely expensive squad. Great managers work with what they have and find a way to win. They enact a style of play and have everyone buy in. ETH has taken a Bill Belichick style of management, which relies on everyone fearing and respecting him, I’m not sure he’s earned it from them. I also have no idea what they want to accomplish on the field. He needs to find a consistent XI that will execute his gameplan, because Man U isn’t Ajax, in that they will be more talented than every other squad. He needs buy in and I don’t see any affection for him from the players.
Mourinho took every squad he inherited and made them capable of winning, players adore him. Ange came into a squad slated to finish 5th or 6th and has a distinct identity as a squad that loves playing for him. You would laugh at the squad Klopp inherited when he came in, and every one feared Liverpool from the moment he took over. Even Pep took an already good City side and made them godlike.
This answer changes probably every decade or so. I’d say we’re both on a tier below Barca and RM. both have huge illustrious histories. Both have had supremely dominant periods domestically and in Europe.
Missing a PAT to lose that game does feel like the most titans thing possible
