I played the new game mode for the first time last week since the new pet stuff came out to help junglers a year ago. Those fking item descriptions are SO LONG that I had no idea what to buy or what they did. The fact that a whole essay has to be on each of those items to balance the jungle really made me realize how many modifications were needed just to make the jungle playable.

I will say though that even though they have to make these insane mods all the time, it does allow for the jungle pool to be much larger than I remember in early seasons. There was a season where if you didn’t play J4, Lee Sin, or Gragas as jungler, you were flamed and basically throwing the game.
