The problem is… people have vastly different setups. Whether its distros, hardware, the way they have lutris installed, what version of wine/winetricks… etc.

There’s no way that I can imagine they can account for all of that without a larger community effort to document every plausible issue and troubleshoot it.

Previously I failed in the simplest of tasks which was to extract Anomaly and GAMMA. I mean I extracted it, but I had no idea it was getting extracted wrong until it outright failed. Now I’m stuck with an issue concerning winetricks because Mint uses an outdated repo of both wine and winetricks.

Sadly I spent my money for this sale already. I’m going to wishlist it and keep track for the winter sale. I like it from what I saw, reminds me of an old warcraft 3 map from my childhood where you built a farm or something like that and then creatures attack you at night and you had to hold out until morning… Man those were the days.

I guess I’m in the minority where the Linux version runs better than on Windows. I like to use SSAA for enhanced visibility and in some cases I got 10-20 FPS extra. I ran the game on max as well, just to see how it did. Never really dipped beneath 100 fps.
