You might just be the target audience of the comment above.
Drill, impact, etc are pretty much necessary to have cordless. I agree with the corded stuff though. Need an angle grinder or sawzall? Get corded. Way more powerful too.
Also listen to that other dude in this thread that mentioned dental hygiene. That’s bangin’ advice.
Here’s my highly specific (hypocritical) advice:
Don’t take advice from Reddit or Lemmy on any important matter. You don’t know these people, and they don’t know you. Some people have good ideas. Most don’t. The ability to think for yourself and determine what’s best for you is the best skill you can have. A review from Lemmy or Reddit on a product is fine. Life advice from internet strangers is almost always garbage.
Here’s some more highly specific meta advice: Change your socks every day. What the fuck people…
Weird… I am also Alpharius
Friend, I am no Linux shill, but I switched to Mint last week on my secondary laptop, and let me tell you, it’s kinda cash and pretty easy.
I had to verify the integrity and authenticity of the Mint download itself, but it’s straightforward and tells you how to do that. Once you’re done, you install the OS just like you would with Windows.
Full disclosure, I don’t use the laptop for much, so no fiddling needed for me.
Edit: I guess I am shilling it, but I mean I’m not a Linux fanboy
