I mean delivery estimate of 3-5 days is bad to start from. I live in the UK and maybe Amazon spoiled me a bit but these days I expect things to get posted next day for delivery a day after.

I agree only on your point that post-3.5 the LCD now looks fantastic imho. Not OLED quality obviously but a huuuge improvement.

Sadly Linux/SteamOS is just the way to go and Steam Deck truly provides that seamless OOTB console experience in addition to desktop support etc.

I mean ultimately it’s Dota, CS and LoL as T1 esports (and I guess PUBG Mobile or some shit). CoD, OW, Fortnite, Halo, R6 and Apex are irrelevant/on life support, Valo is too early to tell… for better or worse Dota is a positive example.
CoD did. The water around it, its genre pool if you like, is pretty much red. So it made more sense to avoid that.
With Half-Life, CoD and Halo from 2004 to 2009 the linear singleplayer action FPS, be it pulp cinematic, cyber-minimalist or sci-fi opera was on a fundamental level solved pretty definitively. When that happens new genres get approached and end up growing instead.
You can see that in how Doom almost went into CoD territory on Doom 4 before a 4 year dev restart turned it into something very different.

The 1TB OLED SKU is the SKU that used to be 512GB, so that seems entirely in line. I doubt it’s a new keyboard theme unless they’re encouraging double dipping? But that would be a minuscule reason.

Startup movie is probably new, the others are probably shared between all SKUS.
I’ve noticed it’s not just 200 or 1040? Like I’ve seen instances of it being at 604 or 400 ish. I think there’s more to this issue than meets the eye and part of it might just be efficiency improvements that MangoHUD is not reporting correctly.
