Given that the “Distributor backlog” message has existed since at least the very minute that OLEDs started selling, Valve really should not have advertised 3-5 business day shipping.
It’s not so nice to buy something that advertises arrival within the next week, only to be told as soon as you drop $800 “Lol sike”
Also from Ontario, you’re not alone. Ordered my 1TB on day 1. Granted, I did order in the evening, however I’m on business day 5 at least with no shipping info.
It’s a little frustrating to say the least. Valve should not have advertised 3-5 business day shipping on the store if they were having issues with their Canadian distributor before OLEDs even released.
1TB OLED to Ontario, Canada. Ordered on Nov 16th. Shipping label finally created today at 6pm. Seven days in packaged purgatory finally over haha.
No delivery estimate yet. Seems like FedEx was royally backed up, and the Carol Steam, IL warehouse was unable to handle the influx of Steam Decks to Canada
