Same for me. Only thing that made it permenantly stick.

Yeah, most public companies hold big cash reserves. Its part of flexibility and long term growth, and the ability to weather downturns and be able to take advantage of opportunities.
Not everything is a rush to the bottom, it’s more of a middle ground. Not saying it won’t end up there, but like everything, it’s not so black and white.
It’s decided by server. Most require it to cut down on spamming and trolls
You aren’t your run of the mill AP clerk I’m afraid
Installed Mint on a 2013 Macbook pro retina a few months ago, only thing not working for me was screen brightness with the proprietary Nvidia driver but was able to correct it.
Otherwise it’s great
Probably because the market is saturated. There can only be so many ways to make a todo app.
Most software made today is the same recycled ideas with a different coat of paint.
So, there are very few new apps that would generate enough value to a majority to be newsworthy
That parkour push off the wall at the end was fantastic
First family computer I used was a TI99 4/a, this was around 1983 or so, with tape deck. Used to type in programs from magazines. I grew up using BBSs, Lan parties, freenet, and shared university accounts when the internet still wasn’t publically accessible.
My first computer that was my own I remember well because it was unique, a dual Pentium pro which was the first i686 and that processor line went on to power ASCI red to become the first supercomputer to reach a teraflop. Dual CPUs in consumer hardware was very unique for the time, it was more classed a workstation then a computer.
Also good in Connect on my phone
Very nice, yeah that’s the problem. I broke into AIX in the wholesale industry in early 2000’s so I have very few finance connections, which is where it all seems to be.
I have also been work from home for 7 years now and figured I’d have to go onsite for banks. That may have changed post covid. I will poke around and see what might be out there for me
Hmm I have the AIX half of that. Maybe learning COBOL is worth the pain…
Know a manager of an oil rig.
Away from friends and family for months at a time, extremely dangerous, 12+ hour shifts, constantly dealing with issues with staff and all around miserable and stressful. Said he wished he had gotten into literally anything else.

I use NoMachine as well as it has been the most responsive solution for me.
My biggest problem that I finally figured out was that NoMachine was attaching to a VNC console instead of creating its own display when I was using it with Unraid VMs (KVM)
I don’t use pop but I know there is a lot of issues with the Nvidia driver that was just released, you probably need to downgrade your driver.
For me it’s because I’m hungry AF and just don’t want to wait for them to fix it. Not being that picky helps.
