Right, but all they have are builds for Ubuntu. Running .deb made for Ubuntu, at the very least, is a bad practice.

I am not worried whether my distro has a way of running DOOM.

I just wanted to see what others are using since GZDoom (my go to on Windows) is not supported for Debian.

ZDoom is not supported on Debian, all they have are Ubuntu builds.

I will look into Doomsday.

Dosbox is fine but I am trying to play mods more than anything.
