One of my favorite moments was December 8th 2016 when Tyreek takes a punt return to the house. There had been a holding penalty against the Raiders to they had to punt again. The crowd had been chanting “TY REEK” during the break and we were sitting lower endzone behind him. Absolutely epic moment.
JFC. Mahomes’ contract is set up in a way for the team to manipulate the cap amount every year. They change the amount the a signing bonus and can push it out several years, or, like this year, they restructure it to pay him more this year and save on future years. The total amount isn’t changing, it’s just when and how PM15 is getting it. Patty doesn’t care how the team configures his pay, he trusts the team to pay it all.
Plus he’s had a full year less wear and tear on his body. Dude could be a steal.
