While I understand your feelings (I have such a friend myself), if graphics are most important to them, they are perfectly entitled to that opinion! I always interject, that my friend is missing out on great gameplay experiences but it is on them what they like and value most.

I think they mean Teflon coating. While Teflon itself is not carcinogenic, the chemicals used in its production are in the PFAS group and not so healthy. The question is then if those chemicals are sufficiently removed in the end.

Well yes, of course. They sell you an installer and it’s on you to download it. That the servers could be turned off at one point in the future because the company doesn’t have money any more should be clear. It’s on you to save the installer on your own hard drive, not the companies!

I would think a chamber is easier to accommodate different body sizes and forms, thereby making fitting unnecessary. Also I would assume it is easier/ less stressful on the operator, since they just lay down instead of having something strapped to their face.

I really like the idea of not being the powerhouse on the battlefield, but the difficult thing will be to make it fun and also give you a progression, where you are not just the tank at the end again. The player needs to be the smart little weasel between the hyenas and not just the lion.

The trailers till now already established a great atmosphere, let’s just hope they can also make a great game fitting to the visuals.

Shouldn’t the mod only affect what you yourself see? So in principle if SquareEnix doesn’t host the mod content, it shouldn’t be their legality, right?

Those stairs are definitely an interesting part when you go down from the towers. But regarding Sagrada Familia they might be one of the most boring parts of the church, since everything else is just that fascinating.

I remember that in my high school time many in my year went to plasma donation as often as it was allowed to collect the compensation. So while you are right that is legally never called payment, people with a need for cash for sure sell their plasma for money.

Oh and in the public sector there is or at least was in the past also the possibility for donating blood and you get the 2 hours or so for that paid as normal. So the government donated the money for a good course.

They didn’t say that, but the other commenter still speaks about a point that also caught my eye:

It doesn’t matter if donating blood or plasma is able to be longer stored. When you need one of them, you can’t substitute with the other. So the medical area still needs both. So you still need people donating both. If a medical institution is telling me they only collect plasma, I would question their motives, because both are needed for helping people.

Maybe the donating place just gave the short explanation and they meant, that for blood donations there are other better places, but it could also mean, they don’t earn enough money with that. And THAT is I think what the other commenter meant with their admittedly short comment.

You do you, but now you know to not do it around other people. If you harm yourself knowingly, that is your choice. Same as with drugs.

Worst part about internet communities is people still not understanding that no matter how dumb a thing is, there is always at least one without the knowledge who will try it themselves. Not everybody has the needed education, so what harm is there in writing a comment specifically mentioning and explaining the problem.

Arrested is such a weak word here. Somebody is arrested for breaking a law. Those were just rounded up and imprisoned for being Palestinian. And if that is a crime, that in itself tells more about the jailer than the jailee.

The original Minecraft had the right idea in my eyes. Cheap in alpha, because there is less stuff. A bit more when it reached beta state and another increase when it reached full release state.

Because you played an inferior version with less content and supported the development, you got a discount. No idea why people would pay extra to be the beta tester though.
