Yeah, they’re not going to suddenly gain $50k+ cash for a down-payment to replace their home. Yes, a mortgage should be cheaper than rent but a renter probably can’t save an extra 3 year’s worth of rent to put it down.

sees broken glass window with armed agents the other side protecting officials saying don’t come through, starts to climb through, gets shot, dies
“how could Biden do this”
That day was one of the few times a revisited 4chan since being an edgy teen. I knew they’d have a downloadable clip posted. Saved, just in case
Look at why it was unpopular. Everyone agreed it was bad for troops. Most believed it was a mistake to go at all, but a sizable portion believed it was the tactic that was wrong, that the war should have started and ended on the same day with nukes.
Or look at it and realize you can get away with it, even if it’s a sloppy war because the citizens don’t care if they lose as long as the other side still dies
I bet the melodies are much closer to each other in mood and progression than you think
No one thinks the system is working. The losers say it’s rigged, the winners beleive they’re lucky they won in a broken system, and the winners eventually become losers anyway. So yeah, the left wants better candidates but the shit part about being on the left, on any progressive front, is that we can’t all agree on what’s most important so we get stuck with limp, neutrally progressive candidates as an average of our interests. The right, the don’t-change or even regressive side, has it so much easier. Just vote for a crybaby that stomps his foot saying “no” to his greens. Even if they debate between Trump or Christie or Haley, whoever, they’ll still have an easier time just undoing whatever that black guy or the junkie’s dad did.
So yeah, we keep voting at the final game for the wet towel because we saw how easy it was for the other side to start ripping into democracy. We saw what happens when progressives boycott the vote because their favorite candidate didn’t win the primary. We saw what happens when half the country argues about turning left, right, staying straight, or maybe even going up while the conservatives only debate about hitting the brakes or throwing it in reverse. We don’t have ranked choice or any other better system than FPTP so here we are

Wait, I think I just figured out how to thaw some ports
Exactly, it takes time to get a non-sequential name. I haven’t heard Gen Y in probably a decade. I still hear Genzie but I suspect it’s partly waiting for the Zoomer adoption, partly due to being the easiest to say. Jennay is smooth but not too clear as a standalone word, needing context like “PIN number”
Energy isn’t free. More power captured from jerking will increase food consumed, meaning more energy used in farming. You’ll have to brand this as either a carbon capture fapture system or as a weight loss program
Does it burn? If I drink cold water, I tend to get esophageal spasms. My heart to my jaw gets this tension and pain, but it doesn’t burn. It tends to be worse with normal sipping amounts rather than chugging like a hamster. It can happen with beer but for whatever reason, soda never causes it for me. Probably something about the drink rate or usually having soda at room temp. Not trying to tell you how your body works, just offering up info no one I know knows about.
“we have to irresponsibly spend the remainder of our budget so it doesn’t get reduced next year” followed one month later by “we need more money because we maxed out the budget last year”
Fuck this atrocious cycle. It’s everywhere. Military, police, any other government branch, corporate politics, 501c orgs pretending to be charities… The greatest crime is stockpiling unsent capital, apparently.
Smarter Every Day did a video on oxygen depletion. You get loopy. As the other comment said, that burning feeling is from high CO2, not low O2. Put your mask on first, then help others.
Two common issues, aside from bad design, are clogged dryer vents and temperature sensors covered in fabric softener
It might weigh it before washing, then keep doing the spin cycle until the weight gets close enough to the starting weight
I much prefer an estimating timer that reliably dries all the clothes rather than a reliable timer that estimates the clothes are dry.
I remember YouTube being millennial dominated. I wonder if it’s just a phase before realizing you’re throwing comments into the void and by being a central social site that still allows anonymity, it just invokes trolls - like xitter.
Wait till you find out YouTube isn’t that old and came about because some horny dudes couldn’t find the video of Janet Jackson’s boob. I mean, 18 is ancient for the internet and other tech, but I’d say it goes beyond just being a website with its social prevalence.
You’d think they’d take a page from American auto makers in the 1970s. They were king through the 60s and Japanese was economical trash that had no place on our open roads. Then the gas crisis crushed land yacht sales, Japan had more cash flow from their little cars, and they made their cars way more competitive in the US market. Meanwhile, US manufacturers just sat at the bar in their varsity jackets saying they’re not worried.
I want to know why Obama wasn’t in the White House on 9/11. Did he know something?
Gen Z already has some belief that Millennials did nothing but complain. No/not enough progress was made for all the protesting millennials cried for. It looks like Z is going the X apathetic route.
