Wet and wild Reserve your Cabana “bronzer”. It was perfect for fair skin with just the right amount of glimmer and not sparkle. I used it every single day and cannot find anything that is a dupe. None of the high-end supposed dupes do the same thing.
Honestly, it may sound old school but I would just go somewhere like a clinique counter. Maybe do it when they have a free gift going on. Their foundation seems to really blend well into my skin, and they can tell you which ones have different levels of coverage and different finishes such as matte or dewey.
I’m 51 and quit wearing it a few years ago. I wore it from the time I was pretty young and man it was a freeing feeling once I quit wearing it (even though formulations have advanced). I still have one tube of foundation just in case I have to have a headshot made or something but my skin is fair and now clear enough that foundation doesn’t make a lot of difference. I just use a little Mac skin finish powder to matte the shine. It’s so great to know that if you subconsciously rub your nose or face that you’re not messing up your makeup.
Yeah, whatever your feelings may be about him, when Jeffree Star decided that he was going to pretty much cut way way back on YouTube I figured that it was going by the wayside. Man, the drama got bad there for a while between all the beauty YouTubers.
Wait… Why?
Right, I’m always trying to figure out what I’m missing with all the colourpop rave. Orangey cheap crap to me.
Having been in marketing my whole life, you have definitely been lied to by a brand.
Morphe, wtf. Actually the brow pencils are fine but the eyeshadow is like kids eyeshadow. I have an Almay shadow palette and it is highly pigmented and has great staying power. Morphe lasted me about an hour.
Intensity by Dean Koontz, when I was a kid, the outsiders by SE Hinton, and I’ve reread the book Son of a Grifter by Kent Walker quite a few times.
