An insider said it was supposed to be released in November 2024, but revealed in spring 2024. Sounds like it’s been delayed 1 year.

Toyota officially said they’ll keep making the current generation ES for roughly 2 more years in Kentucky, before it moves to Japan for next generation in mid-late 2025.

Matches up with a dealer conference confirming a 2026 redesign, that was restarted over the last year.

The 2025 ES they showed 2 years ago I guess was canned. LS has been mostly unchanged since 2020, rumored to die after 2024.

Can’t find the thread on here, but it was back in the spring or early summer.

I saw something on here not long ago, that said the ES is now a 2026 model and LS is dead. Makes sense too, because on some Lexus forums I see they mentioned no trademarks have been filed yet for anything sedan wise.

Probably 2026 models for anything ICE with major changes. We’ll know more by spring I guess.

  • PHEV is coming, but when exactly? Maybe by spring or MY 2026. I only know that Toyota will be making the 2.4T Hybrid Max for the Camry, 2.5 A25A-FXS hybrid. A25A-FXS is the same engine code as the PHEV. It’s very possible Prime is coming, like some insider bros have been saying.

May is when these rollout into showrooms, but I’m guessing production starts in April.
