In today’s nfl I think you need an offensive minded hc. All the contenders have savants on offense running the show. The jets have Hackett. He’s probably the worst oc in the NFL.
He’s not gonna win many games. This sub doesn’t understand that arod doesn’t fix this. The offense has too few weapons, terrible o line, and bad scheme and coaching. Arod is gonna be average and then get hurt. Saleh fired.
Yep. He’s a defensive minded hc. He selected the wrong qb and the wrong guys to run the offense. If Hackett goes this year, I bet it’s an experienced former hc in the league who is an offensive coach, and he could replace Saleh.
Bad system. Bad o line. Not enough weapons. All of those things kill any qb.
When you blow it on a top 3 qb, and the team doesn’t recover, the coach loses his job. Often the gm too.
The niners staff survived missing on their qb because they found another.
Saleh is like a lot of defensive coaches tho. His offense sucks. And he hasn’t hired a good oc yet.

And pressure over the center is different than from one of the tackles. This was game altering pressure.
