2 years agoHoping it isn’t hardware, but a factory reset made no difference. The BIOS is currently the latest version, but is there something I should do to restore it?

There is a 30 second window after waking from sleep that the fan will not spin. During that time, the temp is roughly 40-43c. Then the fan kicks up to a steady 7300~ RPM and the temp is roughly 37c.
