Data centers is pretty much the only reason we need to build more power in Norway.
That and the fact that the poptarts that runs our government want to use land power to power the oil and gas platforms in the north sea.

I’m starting to think the satanists are on to something
I relate to the meme honestly. But my first step was LSD.
I’m trying to be one of those people. I realized how immense my privilege actually is I when I started to hang around a crowd of alternative people. I feel like I fit in much better there than with those others “that made it in life” (whatever that means). But it’s sometimes really awkward to make twice what they do for less effort day to day. I’m going into politics and try to influence where I can in my job and social circle since I fit in in places the true radicals can’t. The world really is fucked up. I try not to ashamed of my privilege, but instead grateful that I have the ability to make a bigger impact for less costs on a group of people that really needs to get the message.
They’re slow and clunky as fuck for starters. Cellular is very spotty.
Do you have a good alternative I can look into? I really, really, really want them to work. The only usable Linux phone I’ve seen is Jolla, but I’d much rather have Mobian or Arch on mobile or some other fully FLOSS alternative
Which phone did you find where these are the only problem you encountered? I don’t care about any of these things and haven’t been finding any usable Linux phones.

This would be perfect for Norway. Oslo-Trondheim and Oslo-Bergen is consistently among the most trafficked air routes in Europe and the train ride is 7-8 hours. I love trains and use them whenever I can and even though I believe we should get better train infrastructure between the largest cities I also concede the fact that beyond those it’s just not practical with trains all the way up north or out to the small coast communities.
Electric planes with a few hundred kilometers reach would suite our domestic travel juuust fine. I might even have started my European interrail trip with a short flight to Oslo or Copenhagen if electric planes where doable and reasonable (in terms of both cost and emissions).

In Norway “shit” is considered the child friendly way of swearing since it’s not religious. I still have no idea why it’s considered swearing in English/USA

I had this problem at first, then I realized there’s so much music I never listened to before and I have enough new music between Qobuz and Bandcamp that I’m satisfied. But I see your point. I have pirated some music when the creator don’t allow me to purchase the songs.
