I just know as soon as I start Love he’s going to put up another stinker, this is now my 3rd stint of picking him off waivers

A washed Shaq Leonard isn’t saving this defense either.
Offense: Ran two quick slants to AJ in the first quarter and then abandoned it for the rest of the game. If Brian Johnson STILL doesn’t understand the importance of having a short passing game when facing a stout defense after 13 weeks then he won’t succeed as a coach in the NFL. Maybe Nick and Brian should spend more time studying how opposing offenses are neutralizing our pass rush (hint: it’s not by deep shots down the field). It’s week 13 and our offense looks exactly the same as it did week 1.
Defense: When the back 7 is comprised of 30+ y/o senior citizens and undrafted guys off the street, this is what you get. Maybe now this FO understands why you need to invest early round draft capital across all position groups, not JUST the dline.
I just know benching Puka in favor of Chase this week is going to backfire
I’m desperate for an upgrade at QB heading into playoffs, I have enough receivers and looking to unload Chase, is he worth getting rid of for someone like Hurts or Josh Allen?
If it rains again on Sunday and our pass rush can’t get to him, expect them to hang 500+ yards and convert every 3rd down attempt, gonna be a long day for our defense again if our offense can’t stay on the field.
Yeah it’s just wildly annoying cause I still feel like Chase is the more talented WR but JJ just gets more of the attention cause Kirk trusts him and isn’t afraid to get the ball to him, whereas Zac Taylor/Burrow try to spread the ball around too much.
It not Chase in particular but:
Yeah I’m sure JJ is thrilled to come back
Yeah I’m going double tight end with Kittle and Kmet moving forward, having to pick either each week is fucking me
I think I’m gonna play two TE’s moving forward with Kittle and Kmet
Hi Dave! Do you think there’s more opportunities for this offense to improve by getting the ball to D’Andre Swift more, especially when he’s in space as opposed to just on delayed handoffs and RPO’s? We’ve seen glimpses of his play-making ability when we use him as a pass-catching option on screens or sweeps, but I’m surprised Brian and Nick aren’t designing other plays such as tosses, end-arounds, wheel routes, etc. for him.
Swift’s pass catching ability seems to be underutilized in our short passing game. Since opposing defenses how been sending additional coverage over AJ and sending more blitzes the past few weeks, we could use Swift more to open up our quick passing game so Jalen is able to get the ball out sooner, thoughts?
You know what’s a bigger risk? Losing the next game or two and setting ourselves up to having to play a must-win game at MetLife for the #1 seed in week 18, and in doing so, losing key player(s) to a season-ending injury because of that dog water shit field that’s already claimed two achillies injuries this season.
So my answer is no, you don’t rest the players now, still a lot of football left.
When D’Andre broke off for the run that set up the walk-in TD. No doubt Jalen won us the game, but Swift the past two weeks has been THE spark. Brian Johnson needs to get the ball into Swift’s hands when he’s space more, he’s too dynamic as pass-catching option for us to shy away from, especially with opposing defenses starting to cover AJ more.
Got ass blasted by Henry, Pacheco, Bijan, Deebo, Hurts and my opp still has Hockensen and DJ Moore tonight, wtf man.
This was going to happen to us eventually, the offenses inability to stay aggressive and close out the game to prevent putting the pressure back on the defense to make a stop
This is what happens when the back 7 of your defense is comprised of old heads and undrafted players.
Maybe if Howie learned to prioritize LB or CB’s earlier in the draft we wouldn’t have to be solely reliant on a pass rush.
JALEN STEP UP INTO THE FUCKING POCKET AND STOP ROLLING RIGHT
It was kinda funny, cause during the entirety of the Cowboys/Seahawks Thurs game I kept thinking, “man Seahawks D looks awfully comparable to ours”, certainly was not wrong
