I honestly have no clue what to expect going forward. I could see the Thunder announcing he’ll be away from the team while they investigate and he doesn’t play Saturday. I could also see them saying nothing publicly and taking no action until there’s legitimate reporting on it.

I used to be able to create Streamable links by just pasting Twitter URLs and Streamable would automatically extract the video, but that doesn’t seem to work anymore. I get an error message every time. Do you have to pull them from another source?

That the ownership group has never been willing to go into the tax. People fixate on the Harden situation from 12 years ago and act like that’s happened throughout the team’s history. But the ownership group added a billionaire since then, and not only have they paid the tax. They’ve paid the repeater tax. They had the highest payroll in the league at one point.

Yep. A lot of casual fans think he’s setting up for a superstar trade, and I don’t think that’s it. I think he’s setting up to perpetually keep picks rolling in for the next 10+ years, so they always have assets to work with (and can acquire role players when the team is contending).

It’s a calculated gamble and a sign that Presti expects OKC to be very good in the 26-27 season. And the Clippers will be very old by then, so it’s Presti using the worst pick from one year (likely in the 20s) to take a gamble on the pick he gets the next year being better. It’s a risk, but with the Thunder unable to roster all these picks anyway, it’s a risk that makes sense.
