To the lighthouse by Virginia Woolf and the Iliad by homer were 2 that spring to mind.

Though the latter I think is because it doesn’t translate well into modern English

Ulysses is sat there waiting, I didn’t enjoy moby dick but I totally understand why it’s on the top 100 classics list, war and peace I really enjoyed!

I’m on 44/100 so far and I want to say I’ve done it as a personal achievement
