I think WCJ and the coaching staff have noticed how Goga has impacted the game. No need for our C to shoot a bunch of jumpers, leads to our stars getting more shots up (which is another thing that I hope MF notices). I believe WCJ is more athletic than Goga, so if can focus on defense and just being a beast inside offensively, I believe he can reproduce what Goga is doing and offer some better interior finishing. With that said, I am not surprised at all how well Goga has played. He showed glimpses of this last season and he ABSOLUTELY deserves praise and minutes once WCJ is back. Perhaps subbing in Mo when we need offense and Goga for D. Hell, he could probably play some frontcourt minutes next to WCJ. My fear is Goga is going to secure a bag next offseason and a promise for a starting position. Dude deserves it, easy guy to root for.

So I just heard the TNT crew say the East will be Indy, Boston, NYK, and Milwaukee. Unfortunate cause we know how we stack up against them (I assume we can handle NY right now). Time to focus on the rest of the season and hopefully the playoffs boys!

The only argument I would have for advancing is the championship game doesn’t count towards the regular season, so it’s an extra game where our players could get hurt. But fuck that, let’s win.
