Exactly. Don’t do what Labour is doing, trying to thread the needle and just pissing off everybody.
Exactly. Don’t do what Labour is doing, trying to thread the needle and just pissing off everybody.
“Gender critical” people chant “sex cannot be changed” like a mantra.
It’s not meant to make sense. It’s not even a real argument, because it’s overly vague and doesn’t even attempt to address the arguments of their opponents. It’s just a flat reassertion of their ideology. And if you follow gender criticals for long enough, you will see that they do this constantly.
Bloody hell, with what crime? Convincing your comrades to not work?
You should try reading.
But this is the sort of low-effort bad-faith response I’ve come to expect from conservatives.
My comment was made in complete sincerity. It was not bad-faith.
Conservative politicians, commentators, and influencers have explicitly called for my eradication as a transgender person.
Alright, I’ll accept that.
I wish you would hold your own representatives to the same standards.
That’s very convenient. Meanwhile the people who want to ban all trans healthcare are literally Republican politicians and talking heads.
The official position isn’t opposed.
Oh come on.
Literally page 31 is talking about repealing gay marriage. The anti-LGBTQ party is anti-LGBTQ.
Which party is the one pushing the care bans, the book bans, the sports bans, the criminalization of drag? Which party has guests at their speaking events talking about “eliminating” trans people?
I can’t understand it because it’s a lie. Name which republican I voted for that wants to remove trans medical rights from adults.
Me: “The official position of the Republican party is opposed to transgender people, if you vote for Republicans, those are the policies that you are supporting.”
You: “nAmE tHe PoLiTiCiAnS i VoTeD fOr Or YoU’rE lYiNg!”
You said I voted for people that are trying to ban trans healthcare. That’s a specific accusation.
Yes. As in the Republican party. I’m sorry you cannot understand that.
Yes the specific person is important since you are making a specific claim.
I’m sorry you are incapable of reading. I made no such claim.
So now I have learned you’re both a liar and delusional.
Eat glass.
Stop acting in bad faith. Name who I voted for that was thing to ban trans healthcare for adults.
If you voted conservative, that is what you were voting for.
I am sorry you are having trouble understanding that.
I have not acted in bad faith. Nothing I said could be viewed that way.
I would laugh in your face if you said that to me in person.
You’ve made a claim, have not facts to defend it and keep doubling down on it.
No. I did not claim to know the specific person you voted for, because the specific person you voted for is irrelevant. If you voted conservative, those are the policies you voted in support of.
You stated you knew who I voted for. So tell me who I voted for. Otherwise don’t by an idiot claiming to know the minds of others. Name one person I’ve voted for that was trying to ban trans care for adults.
If you voted for Republicans in the US, or Tories in the UK, then you have voted in support of banning trans healthcare.
Integrity is important.
Given the bad-faith nature of your responses, and the responses you’ve previously given to me in other threads, you wouldn’t know integrity if it slapped you in the face.
You’ve said you’re conservative, don’t act like it’s a ridiculous leap to think you vote conservative.
Not many. It’s a small minority.
Yet you are happy to vote for them.
Should all democrats be viewed by the democrats trying…
I mean firstly y’all do that, yeah.
But secondly, no, “wealth taxes” and “ban of firearms” are entirely incomparable to banning a groups of people from accessing the healthcare they need or taking part in public life. The latter is a dealbreaker for good people. The fact that it isn’t a dealbreaker for you is precisely why we view you as evil.
Also I am highly skeptical of your last claim. That sounds like a flat out lie from a politician who is pushing the absolute worst of the policies we are talking about. Conservatives have been slithering into my mentions to talk about “Gender Queer” being in schools, when the book is clearly marked for 18+ audiences and isn’t given to kids.
If you think they’re radically different then you haven’t read the studies. The studies say they’re more akin to their biological sex than the gender they picked. Even after years on hrt they maintain their bone mass, most their strength and vo2 capacity. That’s in non-athlete trans people.
No I’m just not cherry-picking the studies that agree with me. There are studies both for and against the inclusion of transgender women in women’s divisions. It depends on the sport, the length of time of transition, the time which transition began, and so on.
But you didn’t acknowledge any of that. You just referred to trans women as “biological men”, which shows a complete and utter lack of understanding of the issue and a dismissal of all actual discussion.
I’m sorry that you lack integrity.
I brought yo because of your claim. It’s false.
Good faith people interpret names of groups to not mean “literally every single member of the group thinks this”. You can take your pedantry and shove it.
Proposes vs enacted. Two very different things.
A distinction without a difference. Conservative politicians are pushing these laws, and if they get the support and power to do so, will enact them.
Sports Is an issue. Biological men shouldn’t be competing with biological women.
Transgender women on HRT are, biologically speaking, significantly different to cisgender men. I am sorry that you lack the capacity to understand the nuances there.
Caitlyn Jenner is conservative and trans.
Yes, she’s a quisling, and widely loathed in trans communities. But what’s your point in bringing her up?
I’m conservative and I don’t give two shits someone is trans.
Fantastic. But you also are okay with us being harmed by the policies of the conservative politicians who definitely do care about trans people.
If you mom the fight is about children. Otherwise nobody really cares.
Utter. Bullcrap.
There are conservative politicians calling for total bans on gender-affirming care. There are laws proposed to make being visibly trans in public, at any age, a sex crime. Politicians and many regular everyday conservatives alike talk about being trans as displaying a fetish in public.
It’s not about sports. It’s not about bathrooms. It’s not about children. It’s about forcing trans people out of visible society.
Prosecco Stormfront at it again.
