Guys the playbook is not changing , idk why you think they implement a WHOLE new system overnight but this was part of my doom and gloom approach. It’s not Dorsey that needed the axe.
He did as much as he could with this squad - he is not an elite level coach he brought us to a competitive level so thanks for the memory’s but we need to go out and get us a winner.
Lotta things go into this really.
CJ in year one will give a different look to every team - even though film might help - he can still show different looks making it hard for a defense to figure out.
our players on offense are falling short, stop blaming Ken Dorsey and realize Latavious Murray called that meeting because the PLAYERS are the ones not delivering.
at the end of the day Texans got nothing to lose and that’s a dangerous team to play because they can throw weird looks at you and ya gotta just deal with it (if you can)
Think the reality of our issue is as follows:
Ken Dorsey was the sacrificial lamb - wasn’t at fault hopefully it’s a message that it’s Sean McD in line next. If you think he will overhaul the play book this late in the game brother you have no idea how ball works.
McD - reports are suggesting he is the one who proposed Josh limit his running and stick more to the pocket, since he’s a defensive guy he doesn’t know how to use or build Josh up - gotta get an offensive coach that can play to Josh’s strengths. I personally cannot stand McD anymore, got us to a competitive state - time to move on.
The players simply were not executing.
Many people forget that KD was Josh’s QB coach under Daboll they had a great relationship - You can tell Josh feels bad because he knows the players aren’t executing fundamental shit. KD knew how to hype Josh up and get him going.
