Yeah Kyrgios has beaten each of the big three… Sure he could have probably achieved more in an alternate universe but it’s already an impressive tennis career tbh.

As others said, he’s extremely skilled. He’s also incredibly fun to watch. He plays with a lot of variety, even tossing in some underarm serves and things like that. A really dynamic player. He also hits these absolutely monster flat forehands sometimes. If you wanna watch Kyrgios at his best, check out some of his old matches vs. Federer like in Miami (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaZKp5s-mxc) or at Laver Cup (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEoDYm0v4j0).
Of course, his matches can also be excruciating to watch because he sometimes behaves like a child.
Does next gen usually have a wild card entry…?
Seeing Zverev horribly shank a forehand on an important point is a fucking addictive drug to me.
Honestly I think Sinner and Djokovic are almost certainly moving on, but it could be more likely that Sinner doesn’t qualify… he just needs to lose to Rune in straight sets and have Djokovic beat Hubi the same. Not at all unlikely. Hubi beating Djokovic seems far-fetched and he needs to at least lose one set to nto advance in case Rune does beat Sinner in straights. All I’m saying is… it’s complicated and all three players absolutely need to win in order to guarantee their spots.
So the games (i.e. the games in a set) played between Holger and Stef aren’t taken into consideration? I suppose that makes sense.
Very Coco Gauff vibes, ya love to see these young athletes so grounded.
Gotta say that rule on time being reduced from 25 to 15 seconds if the previous point included fewer than 3 shots is just gonna be confusing to the players. I like the idea of starting the match right after the coin toss though. The few minutes of warm-up after coin toss always seemed like a bit of a let down. Wonder how they’ll deal with the balls then, as I understand the warm-up is also for the players to get a feel for the balls and work them in a little. Will they use the same balls from the practice court?
Wild that Vondrousova ONLY won Wimbledon.
What is this unholy cotton candy kit Novak is wearing? My eyes are crying sugary tears.
Could be Jannik’s turn. But probably Novak…
Big Sinner guy here but I just think the deficit is too great so I voted never. He played so well the last two wins against Meddy but the matches could have gone either way and the H2H is still 2-6. I think they’ll probably trade wins for a while, maybe Sinner gets 2 and Meddy 1, but I am not sure he will overtake the H2H.
Yeah that’s true, BvdZ is no slouch. He looked super bummed out there last night though. Heart didn’t seem in it.
It’s about context buddy, I’m obviously not calling them “average tennis players” in a general sense but average in the sense of the world’s best.
He’s won 4 out of 5 but they’ve been against average opponents. Let’s see him get by Schevchenko and potentially face a real test.
Give my boy a roof and he starts blastin, you love to see it
Felix is firing missles out there, just give the boy a roof and he starts blasting.
Except the one he netted to give up the break when he was serving for set 1. But otherwise yes.
I haven’t seen him play much but he had a really great close fight against Fils at Wimbledon. Didn’t look nervous at all.
