  • That’s a totally rational perspective. I don’t like giving them more money to solve the problem either, and I suppose they should be providing something of extra value for that money especially for the server quality, other than just non-cheater lobbies. That’s why I was suggesting the items you could get with having Premium, much like CSGO, which would be tradeable/sellable so you are getting value outside of what a game should already provide. I.e. you pay $20 for Premium, but you get $10 in value from the items that you can sell. If your account makes it multiple seasons because it doesn’t get banned, then you will get another $10 the next season, and so forth.

  • I understand the skill ceiling in the game is much higher on mouse and keyboard. I watch a lot of R6 content and have been playing for 8 years, so even though I haven’t been on m&k long, I have a good understanding of the possibilities. Varsity Gaming in particular shows cases many times just how many cheaters there are in Siege, so this isn’t particularly news. I have watched replays of a teammate, while I was in a 4 stack, run across map, C4 a wall, only to go to the exact doorway someone was at and kill them confidently. All without a callout or checking a cam. Getting 3-4 kills per round, every round, just isn’t realistic.

I understand what you’re getting at, and I know that I have a long way to go with my aim and just knowledge and decision-making in general, so know that I am coming with that perspective.

All I am saying is premium lobbies, especially tied to something that most people that play would typically buy anyways, only benefits us. If you don’t want it, don’t buy it, or use it.
