How do you check SSD health on macs?
How do you check SSD health on macs?
Eh, my M1 Air is at 87% after 1 year and half
Although it is important to note that it came with 92% brand new out of the box
I contacted apple, they never did anything about it, but it never affected my usability, so I didn’t care much, though that seems extremely un-apple like lmao
Fuck all bro, literally any laptop that apple sells is worth upgrading to from a 2015 Macbook
Depending on the task, you can even get away with a base air lol, im talking M1. If you’re newly learning to code, lol bro, even a 2017 air will suffice… don’t buy that though. If you’re looking at more intensive tasks, than the Pro lineup is pretty open to you, a lot to choose from for sure
Eh, if you don’t need to get MKBHD level videos out, you’ll be fine with the literal base M1, although I say if you don’t have a budget constraint go crazy with it, but if you have a generous enough budget, get the M2 Pro, base model with the old design. Honestly, cant go wrong with apple silicon
Unless you have my particular model 💀
I’m sorry if the post sounds a little cocky, I am just a little pissed about this tiny little issue, cause this sin’t something I faced with the last 15 years of using macs, yeah the intel macs weren’t that great at doing intensive tasks to begin with, but they would handle normal tasks like they were brand spanking new, even when they were well over 10 years old, so the M1 MacBook Air feeling a little slugish only 3 years down the road of being released, not to mention the fact that I bought mine only a year and a half ago to avoid the slower SSDs on base M2s, so I’m worried to say the least
Give it fentanyl
