Exactly $0. Using the latest Windows with a 8th gen CPU is far from ideal. Storage is limited, but RAM is fine for most purposes (only rendering and extreme gaming really need the full 32 GB or more)
Then they probably messed up something in the latest update. I read somewhere that the screen refreshes (when it turns black and then white again) make the tablet reach peak consumption for a moment and drain the battery. I am wondering how one can minimize these refreshes while writing on the tablet.
If you turn off the Wi-Fi do you still notice excessive battery drain ? Is there any way to optimize battery use and reverse the changes after updates ?
Making a solid tip might damage the screen, it’s better to make nibs that wear out quickly than a screen that wears out, this is basic physics, something is gotta give.
The company spent several years working on the writing expetience, I am sure they studied all the possibilities and adopted the optimal approach.
