As I see it, the problem is that the younger generation grew up with losing teams along with so many other ways to be entertained - video games, TikTok, social media, whatever. And many of the grizzled vets who experienced the success of the 80’s and early 90’s have already thrown in the towel due to Snyder’s 20+ years of ineptitude.

A shocking number of them had Howell ranked above Purdy. Have these folks watched anything other than C’s games? Howell has had a nice year and done some great things, but what Purdy has done all year has been incredible. Went into an angry environment today and not only flourished, but dominated the Eagles. The dude is making his case for MVP.

He’s having a solid year, especially for a rookie but let’s not get carried away. You forget his stats against the pitiful NY Giants: 504 yards, 1 TD, 4 picks, 10 sacks and a QBR about 42. Not even close to good enough.
