Yeah the mechanic seemed weird at times. I sometimes fell from 4 to 3 immediately after a game where I got more than one endorsement and endorsed 2 people myself. It looks like that decay was a lot more aggressive than the patch notes make it seem.

I feel this post very much.
I get that as DPS or tank there are times when you see an opportunity to mess the enemy team up and you go for it. But if you do that while my slow grandma ass is 4 corners away, spamming “Fall back” and the other support is a reddit Lucio chasing a widow somewhere, your “Where are the healz!!!” after your inevitable death doesn’t make me reflect on my actions but rather on why I still play support.
Also, there’s a toggle in the options for two different sound cues for when an enemy dies or a teammate dies. I don’t know if that is still the case but that option was OFF by default when they introduced it, which is ridiculous. These cues are vital for every role and makes you 10x more aware that you’re outnumbered than the tiny killfeed.
