I don’t think he ever nailed or felt comfortable being “the guy”. He thought it would be so glamorous but quickly realized it was much more deeper than strategy on the pitch. But to your point he did actually loosen up right at the end of it.

Best decision I ever made was to rewatch the show. Saw so many details I didn’t realize the first go around and was as emotionally invested as the first time. Could probably rewatch this show every year or two and still enjoy it like it was the first time. Except for Beard After Hours episode….still didn’t like it 2nd go around. Actually skipped it 2nd time. Lol
