My “backup” team is the 49ers. I’ve rooted for them since the Montana / Rice days (yes, I’m old) but CMC being on the team right now is a nice bonus. I was a 49ers fan before the Panthers existed. When we got a hometown team, the 49ers got moved to #2, but I never stopped liking them.
