This is infuriating. I don’t get this. You’ve got a product that people legitimately want to pay (overpay) money for, and you not only don’t have the product in any stores, but you don’t have it online, I can’t find it, pre-order it, etc. I can’t even find a legitimate picture of it on the 49ers website.

As far as anybody can tell the only place this existed is on Kyle Shanahan’s shoulders and a handful of dudes who bought it from Pier 39.

Clear and Present Danger is a good film and Ford does his best with it, but I always loved the book for that a lot and wanted to see a better translation to film. I do love Dafoe as Clark though. So much that when I read the books that’s who I envision in the role.

Agreed. And it’s the ONLY Clancy property that’s true of, as the books for Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, etc are fine but the books are better.

But Red October the film is a masterpiece. I watch it at least twice a year.

When I read the book all I could think about was how angry I was at the person who recommended it to me. “This is right up your alley!” They said. It’s garbage.

Then I heard they were making a film and I thought “okay so that could be a substantial upgrade over the book, a better medium for the story.”

The movie kinda sucks too. But it is slightly better than the book.

Both of them are unbelievable messes, though. At least the film got rid of the “80s only” games and movies, and the decision to switch from War Games to The Shining was awesome, even though I love War Games.

George Kittle should be the face of the NFL. Endless positivity, tons of energy, always plays hard.

The dude is electrifying with the ball in his hands and hilarious when tasked with blocking. The clips of him laughing as he steamrolls defenders are amazing.
