We’ve had a ton of injuries, have had one of the toughest schedules so far & have lost a lot of nail bitters. All things considered I think we should feel pretty good.

Last 3 seasons he’s been at 39% so I don’t think the 37.5% he shot last year with us was really out of this world for him
I think the problem is our half court offense remains ineffective. We don’t really move off ball or run a ton of plays. Pushing the pace has been great but we’re not very free flowing in the half court.
I think that’s more on coaching than personnel.
Mikal is missing a lot of open 3s but I think if he got his 3 ball back he’d be putting up similar numbers to last year. So I’m not too concerned.
How do the bulls ever stop anyone when their centers are Vuc and Drummond? How do they ever stop a Pnr?
The worst decision was hiring Hackett. A good backup with Hackett and we are still awful. Look at how terrible Russ looked last year. Idc if he’s Rodgers best friend hiring him to call plays was a huge mistake. Lazard sucks too. If rodgers was only going to come here because we hired and signed his bum ass friends then we should have looked elsewhere.
Idk he’s been emotionless during every season when we’re getting the shit kicked out of us. This isn’t exactly new. Just amazing how he keeps his job through another awful season
The way this fanbase sees Mikal is shameful. Everybody thinks CamT is untouchable but not Mikal? He’s a two-way stud with a great head on his shoulders. After the embarrassment the big 3 were where all 3 either demanded out, chose not to play or gave up on the court, you’d think the fans would love a guy who has averaged 25 with us, who plays EVERY GAME and hard every night.
You say we’d need a trade to make the players happy. I disagree (unless it’s making guys that don’t play happy by trading them) because our players right now seem to be happy and are buying into the vision. They aren’t divas and actually maybe like the fans and Brooklyn? Crazy thought.
It’s a little different because these players are actually good players. DLo, Caris and even Jarrett might not be playoff level players. Mikal, Cam, DFS, Royce, Clax (if he develops an offensive game at all) & hopefully Cam Thomas are guys that can play when it counts.
DLo, Caris & Din and Harris are all fun guys that don’t play defense and get exposed in the playoffs. Jarrett isn’t a great pnr defender like clax and is just as limited on offense. It’s fun to look back on those guys but they weren’t actually good. The guys we have now are much more versatile and suited to the modern game.
We’ve had so many close losses we easily could be above .500. We’ve also dealt with a ton of injuries to Clax, Ben, CamJ and CamT. We’re fun and we have good winning players. Just enjoy.
I doubt it. With Mikal, Cam, Ben all on big deals we don’t have much to play with. Clax will want to get paid too. Lonnie will probably be a one-and-done with us
I’d fire Saleh for Ben Johnson without hesitation.
How is our defense so bad? Mikal, Clax, Cam, Royce, DFS & DSJ that’s more than enough good defenders to constantly be giving up this many points.
No chance. I’m not sure Nets will retain Clax but there would be better offers. Clax is a DPOY candidate and such a great switchable defender/rim protector. You can get better than 2 late picks and a bust.
I honestly really like watching this team. The big 3 was fun that one year but was then such a drag it wasn’t even worth it. These guys play hard and are in every game. I love a lot of the new guys and have to trust Marks that he can figure this out. I’m not sold Ben is going to ever be the type of player worth playing when the games really matter so that’s been sad. With that said, we go really deep so we don’t need Ben if he won’t drive or improve his half court game at all. I’m also not sold Clax will fit on this team if he wants a huge contract.
I’m excited for the future but I’m still not sure JV is the right guy. I do think he’s done very well managing minutes and giving the guys that deserve time minutes. But I’m not sure he’s the X and O type of guy that we’ll need if we want to truly compete.
Saleh doesn’t call plays on offense or defense so isn’t his job to have his players prepared? If not, what does he do???
Garrett has made a ton of insane catches but he’s also dropped too many balls thrown right at him
It’s amazing Poole makes as much as he does. He’s had just about the worst last couple of minutes I can ever remember.
We have Dinwiddie and 4 plus defenders on the floor how is our defense so bad?
