I think at this price u can get the basic grand seiko with spring drive

Right now for around 1000-1500 range that i really want to get are:

1. Grand Seiko 6145-8050 from 1972 in Mint Condition.
2. Speedmaster Reduced, i think i seen one used at around 1700
3. Longines Legend Diver

all of them are used ofc, i don’t really like to buy things new

i never find anyone who buys speedmaster because:

“they wanna be astronauts”

they buy it because its the moonwatch, the watch that went to the moon, the history of it.

and 2nd reason is because they like the looks.

I have a 1969 King Seiko 4502 - 7000

Why do i have it? Well because its part of the watch history i guess when seiko beats the swiss so hard they close the chronometer competition.

Also its the last movement that are handmade iirc.

Man thing thing is a beauty, for a 50+ years old watch to be in such good condition. outside and inside too.

i don’t really care about resale value, but im planning to find a person who can polish this (locally in indonesia) without ruining the look of the case and maybe some dial restoration too so it can look like brand new.

Im wrong about emenes, Jojo is better. get Jojo instead and replace fudge with someone like impact and u have a team.
