Shame. /s.
It deprives Apple and Microsoft of revenue. /s

Orient it so the LED is facing away from you, with the LED facing a surface covered with Vantablack or some such equivalent. This saves on tape etc…

Your hill - first two sentences absolutely, in UK so no chikfila.

Future generations are largely doomed by the apathy of the “we have nothing to hide” folks of today, or those who buy into the its “for the children” movement.
Horrifying for the generations to come, as it all advances from multiple angles to 1984 reality
This. Exactly.
"It feels as good as never giving a cent to Amazon, Uber, and streaming services.
Yay. " Yay indeed. Just started my Cinnamon journey. Old Win7 laptop - never going back, to Apple either.
Absolutely correct. All your post, especially the last two sentences. Dunning-Kruger seems to have become infectious.

Boom boom

Fair enough. Don’t be invoking Article 5 (again) the next time there’s an attack on your soil.

2 years to go till the 100th anniversary of the Great Crash. Just saying.
Definitely not a “Special Military Operation.” No, definitely not one of them.

All initiated apparently by Donald. J. (I don’t want America getting involved in wars in far away countries) Trump…

I can’t argue with any of your post. Hypocrisy personified.

Hasn’t it always been about senile dictators/kings sending other peoples children to die. I wish there was some mechanism that could force a so called ‘leader’ to - “you wanna pick a fight with nation X, get yourself off then, and don’t forget to take your kids…” Until then we’re stuck with the same old idiocy over and over again.

I think he’ll find the ‘ultra rich’ don’t care. They’re too busy building their bunkers and think they’ll be able to wait it out until the proles have bred enough for their exploitation to restart.
Hi, I’m over 65 and I’ve just dumped Win and MacOS for Linux Mint Cinnamon. Not ever going back. So, yes you should bother definitely. As other posts says, decide on a distro, find the relevant forum, join and ask questions. I tried Mint Cinnamon, XFCE, and also Gnome. The Mints are most like Windows, Gnome is a bit different. My point is once you’ve got your head round doing the SHA256 checksum malarkey and installed it, check it out, install what you need. If it runs it great. Or try a few, it’s a great thing to learn. Personally, I find it’s fantastic to get away from the tricks and all round ensh*ttification of the Win/Mac worlds. As Nike say ‘Just Do It’. 😁
