4060 Ti is much more efficient + that frame generation. The difference in performance is not material, really. I know imagining is hard for some people but please do try. If you can’t judge chips on merit without marketing names and prices, just imagine it would cost $100 cheaper and be called 4060. Wouldn’t it be impressive then? So much more perfromant, so much more efficient.
So, again, a great product but a bad pricing.
Nope, again just priced badly. All of the Ada Lovlace chips are efficient and performant for what they are.
Yes, it definitely does. There’s a big difference in cache between those and there are some other core enhancements. So 14700K being has essentially faster cores and 8+8 vs 8+12 don’t tell you the whole story.
People would choose 13600K over 12900K even if the i9 is cheaper than the i5 due do that.
Oh lol, there’s a special category for a certain group of people who ordered at launch, had to cancel in late fabruary 2022 due to REASONS, reordered & rerouted the package and got it late 2022.
Same. I mail forwarded my S20 FE to get the Snapdragon version. Works perfectly. Doesn’t get hot, lasts long. A very well balanced device overall. I like my ‘cheap’ plastic back and the flat screen too. :-)
Steam Deck is much bigger than I expected. Legion Go relative to it is huge and must be unwieldy.
Opening 20 tabs in one bar is more dangerous than opening one tab in 20 bars.
Your laptop doesn’t care though. If browsers are different then they’ll collectively eat up more memory but it all will be freed once you close them.
Mediatek is a Taiwanese company so there should be no restrictions in selling, buying or importing them in NA.
We already knew that both its CPU & GPU performance is class leading. However, it’s incredibly impressive that the battery life is not affected by the lack of tiny cores. It’s even improved over the predecessor.
7800XT is like 50% cheaper at 6800XT’s inflation adjusted MSRP ($650 then is like $750 now). Plus they only just briefly appeared at that MSRP and were sold for much more for the vast duration of their lifecycle. So yes, it’s quite a deal at this price.
Feels like it’s the first article written by a person who actually read and comprehended the specs and not only ate up frore’s marketing materials and reported still high on emotions. Finally this cooling’s high power consumption aspect is raised in the media.
