I think the most reassuring thing I’ve seen come out of the weekend was Josh saying “I feel like I’m myself again,” or something along those lines.
When that man has his confidence, it bleeds over into every other aspect of our play on both sides of the ball.
The Bills under Josh Allen are capable of thrilling victories and heartbreaking losses (13 seconds, for example).
Couple that with Brady, who may let Josh be Josh, and McDermott possibly having finally learned good clock management after a few losses (he did great in the game this weekend), and I think we have a chance to deliver the Eagles their second loss of the season.
I’ll never, ever count Josh and crew out. Bills by a billion.
Go Bills!
Been living in CA since 2012, and married into a Cowboys family. Between those two, I’ve heard plenty but I’d say the dumbest thing I’ve heard is “Josh Allen sucks. You can’t talk about that to a Bills fan, though.”
They’re not wrong, but it still irks me.
I mean I’ve done some research and have found that after last night, the Bills are the most penalized team in the NFL and the Eagles are the least.
That, and the Eagles are undefeated with Hochuli officiating. I think it was a perfect storm.
I’m still iffy on Gabe- he’s too inconsistent to be depended upon, but Allen had incredible focus and it showed all night.
Everyone is shitting on the defense, but given how we’ve had to piecemeal a working secondary I’m impressed with their performance thus far. Holding Hurts to a QBR of 7 before the half is fucking impressive regardless of who’s opposite the Eagles.
We played the best team in the league and held our own for most of the game, despite the setbacks forced on us by the officials. I truly wish we’d been operating like this since day 1, and I fear what a missed postseason will mean for our big talent staying on, but overall it made me confident in the team as a whole.
