In any of the shops owned by providers theres also no cases/screen protectors? Their usually the first to have it.

Not claiming to be an expert but I remember there was a dispute between apple & FB due to witch Whatsapp is more limited than what it needs to be, might be because of that. I’d recommend to fact check and not take this for granted though.
