u/jamvanderloeff I’m both happy and embarrassed to state that a new DisplayPort to HDMI dongle fixed the issue. Thanks for your assistance.

I’ve tried both display ports with the same DisplayPort to hdmi dongle (possible fault point) neither DisplayPort out works. Tried a different hdmi cable, doesn’t work. Tried different hdmi inputs on tv, doesn’t work. Even tried the usb c out on the front panel to an hdmi adapter, doesn’t work.

Hoping to test a different display port to hdmi adapter tomorrow. Will report back.
