  • Fuck man I don’t know how to explain this to people… AI creates code that works… But it’s like a house in stilts… One strong wind and it’s going to crash…

But the pushback is… It’s faster… What about bugs? Tell ai to fix them…

I don’t know what to do… If the apps are low usage low costs… For the end user it’s almost indistinguishable when it’s 5000 lines spaghetti code vs 1000 clean code… They both work… So how do you explain the higher ups that the cleaner code is better long term…

If long term they say ai will be better and faster fixing the bugs it makes today just keep using ai…

    Anyone have opinions?

  • Honestly I use debugger when I have to go deep into some library’s bullshit code. My stuff should be stable clean and understandable enough to quickly see what’s happening with console log.

If I were to find myself needing debugger all the time with breakpoints and all this shit, it means shits has gone sideways and we need to back up and re-evaluate the code.

  • This fucking sucks… Nothing comes close to Nova and even when it was bought by that shit company I didn’t switch because there simply is no good alternative…

First google killing sideloading, now no nova… Android is basically becoming Apple but shitter.

I’ve never owned an Apple device but I feel like I’m getting pushed to the brink.

Everything that has made Android awesome has been getting killed off.
