When you think about it, everything on that list can kill you.

Man, you’re all over this thread sticking up to Google. You should apply there. They just laid off 100 YouTube employees. At least you’d be paid to shill.
You’re not going to guilt trip me out of adblocking Google of all fucking companies lmao
Is it really uBlock Origins? They mention AdBlock and AdBlock Plus, which are separate from uBlock Origins.
Those are the three choices most people will have.
LMAO
You forgot the simplest of them: Firefox, uBlock Origins, SponsorBlock. Works on desktop and Android.
Used to be ads on the side of videos, and they were still scams like “Hit the target to win a FREE ipad!” At least they didn’t block the actual content. No one should ever feel bad about blocking ads lmao.
In the same boat. GPM was so much better than Spotify in terms of UI and basic features. People hype-up Spotify’s recommendations, but since moving there after GPM shut down, I don’t think I’ve ever had good music in my Spotify recommendations. Lack of basic features like being able to dislike specific songs, which they keep removing it with A/B testing, is so fucking infuriating!
Do you mean the actual video buffer or the page’s loading time? Because they made it take 5~ seconds longer to load on Firefox when they started going after adblockers and my filter that replaced it with 0.0001
(or whatever) seconds hasn’t been working for a little bit.
A few weeks ago, I learned that we had an old server still running somewhere with Lotus Notes installed on it, and that we somehow need it for some critical system. ¯\(ツ)/¯
C’mon now. “Laptop monitor turn off” has never generated a good result
That’s not what they’re saying. They mean that if your search contains that or is somewhat adjacent (despite being more specific), your results will be drowned in it. For example, if you had something like “laptop monitor turn off when bla bla bla”, 90% of the results will completely ignore what you’ve added.
I’ve got to deal with the same shit whenever I have to deal with complicated programming questions. Half the results will be related to some really basic mistake on the user’s side that I haven’t done, and I’ll need to spend a lot of time trying to find the magical word combination that doesn’t trigger those non-related issues and actually show me what I need.
It’s honestly disheartening that this game was killed by greedy assholes. The concept of Brainiac taking over the Justice League, including Superman so the Suicide Squad has to be called-in has so much fun potential, especially with how Rocksteady handled the Arkham series.
I remember seeing that initial Superman reveal trailer and thinking “Oh shit! This is gonna be so cool!”. Unfortunately, we’ve seen that it’ll be a mess of shitty MTX and grind to keep people paying. Unless they straight-up killed it and started fresh, there’s no saving it.
It’s sad that this game will obviously just be an Avengers 2.0.
Same. My entire friend group went “Eeeeeh, $50~ seems like a lot.”
I’d given-up on playing it with friends, and then a buddy from work just randomly called me up on Teams and was like “Hey, I see you’ve got it in your wishlist. Wanna play this Thursday?”
Kind of surprised to see it do so well, tbh.
