No thanks.
I’ll keep my phone and my freedom by removing Google from it.

Did fedora make a stand against AI? If so, I might jump from Debian

He’s also done wayy more than his predecessors to increase the cost of fossil fuels

What you just said is impossible.
Android doesn’t have any google by default, so these installs can’t be forced by Google to do anything.
If anything, they will push more people to reinstall Android without Google, so they can install normal software on fdroid.

That’s absolutely not true. Slate is working on one that’s not.
We’re just waiting for a car to solve this problem.

So just wait 2 years

We successfully increase the price of oil, leading to mass adoption of renewable energy alternatives.

Lol this is the least important attribute about EVs to me.
If it charges enough for me to drive 100 km over 8 hours (while I sleep), it’s grand.
But the most important thing to me is that it isn’t a surveillance capsule. So far all EVs suck at this metric.

I’m one of your human visitors who isn’t counted as a human because I don’t use JavaScript btw

That doesn’t make sense. VPN providers are even further outside their jurisdiction.

One feature that has not yet returned is the ability to remove and wipe apps as a response to a panic trigger app like Ripple. We recognize that some users rely on this functionality for privacy and personal safety reasons and understand it is more than a usability feature. However, it requires highly specialized work to maintain, and given the small user base, we felt it should no longer block so many other important improvements.
That sucks balls

Search has also been significantly improved. In addition to app names, it can now search app descriptions,
It didn’t do that before? I’m pretty sure it did that before

So, like, they want to enforce this on piracy sites?
If they had any ability to control piracy sites, wouldn’t they just shut them down?
Sounds DOA.

How? I haven’t noticed anything.

Do we have metrics on torrents increasing simultaneously?

What’s the difference to the consumer?

That’s been a thing for years

Why are you linking to bluesky instead of his article?
Nowhere in the article do they explain what the zero day was…
