Alright, so after some searching I seemed to have found the answer…I unplugged the Steam Deck Dock from my battery backup/surge protector, and plugged it directly into the wall…that seems to have very oddly solved the problem

It’s fine. You can move later if you’d like. Don’t be afraid to try third party apps. There’s a lot of great ones on iOS and Android. elk.zone is wonderful for your browser as well
