  • I see all of the people explaining stuff around lifestyle but I’m wondering how many footballers are financially literate. Maybe some have an “education” through academies or through school but many footballers are poor and/or with poor education systems (which some people pay for themselves).

I’m from a “wealthy” country and even I had to learn basic financial literacy MYSELF. So gambling to me doesn’t make sense due to financial risk, I’d take maybe $20 to the casino that I wouldn’t mind losing.

Which footballers are going to take the time to learn that? Money theory is boring as shit.

I want that big win! Feels similar to stepping out in front of 1000s in a match. Or people want that one big win. You might win a lot of money on one day, also winning money is fun! So bigger bets must = bigger payouts.

  • Is it just me or did the generation after the main 2014 winners retired not pick up the slack for whatever reason?

That 2014 team was solid and so full of leaders and personality. As a Chelsea fan. Havertz and Werner…. Meh. Rudiger is a great locker room presence but he doesn’t have that same imperious vibe as a Neuer, Lamn, Schweinsteiger and Klose.

Germany will be back though. I’m sure. Imagine someone growing to be the next big striker for Germany and their childhood hero is Kane? That would be interesting

  • The logic wasn’t without merit. I have seen so many guys leave Chelsea and do great!

Mount should’ve worked imo. I was annoyed because when he is at it, he’s fantastic. Even when he isn’t scoring goals or getting assists, he can still make teams better. He will never be the main guy but he was a great cog in literally any system he is asked to play in. Could assist and had the selfishness to score goals at the right moments. If Man U got 2021 Mount. Then it would’ve been a slam dunk.

Havertz I knew was a bigger risk for Arsenal. Tall without the strength, and he isn’t shifty in tight areas. Also for some reason his first touch is fine…. But it’s just a little off. Like it’s JUST too heavy and the defender gets it off of him. But he isn’t really a massive goal threat. I never really knew what he was. Imo should’ve stayed at Bayer for a couple more seasons.

  • You have described my audio journey. I don’t have the 6xx but I have the Akg, 599 and 598. Heck I almost bought some 6xx’s used on marketplace🤣. Will also be reading the comments with as much interest as OP.

Maybe the 600 will be my next step. I do enjoy the Sennheiser ideal of having nice mids. Some people don’t like the high bass boost but I enjoy it. Hifiman’s QC is too scary for me.
